Freedonia!

This summer one of the last weeks, the first week of August, I took a trip with my mom and my brother out to Ohio. We had lots of fun, played more rounds of BANG! than I care to count and build a kingdom at the beach. The last time we traveled out to visit our relatives we took a trip to Lake Erie for the day and build sandcastle kingdoms. As is tradition when we visit Lake Erie. This year was no different. We arrived at the beach in midafternoon. An entire blank beach waiting to be sculpted into a kingdom. We had the big shovels, and the hoes, and the small pails. We were ready to go. Many wave crashes, destroying buildings, and remade sea barring walls later this is what we had:

This angle of the kingdom shows the many little cities outside of the main kingdom.(the one with the wall around it.) The big building of sand next to that is my cousin Tyler's "kremlin" mansion. up near the water, close to the wallis the lighthouse, and next to that is my brother Zack's beach house mansion. the next one over the two towers belong to my cousin Brooke, and the thicker lumpy tower was my cousin Becca's. My cousin Andrew's house was not in the shot, because it was in the process of construction as we left.

This is the main kingdom. Starting on the left, inside of the walls facing east (---->) On your right you have the farms with a few scattered houses for the workers. To your left you have the center of trade with the middle class housing behind it. As you continue right in the thin area is where the soccer team's field is located. as you go into the big square section you have the big lump, the volcano, where My cousin's Emma and Leah and I live. the little houses around that are for the high-class, and  older people there is a big circle to the right of the volcano which is the community track, and to the top of the volcano is the community pool. The volcano has all the sports stuff that are in the kingdom inside it as well. if you look above the volcano there is a little path of walls that looks like ll that leads to the beach front property, and the fish market. Outside the walls up by the water are the ghettos. close to us in the crook there is a tower and a little wall looking thing, that is our airport. There are gates/entryways, you just cant see them.

Sadly it was left unfinished, and after three or four hours of working on it this is what we got from it.
It is by far the farthest we have ever gotten on a kingdom before. We got many  compliments on it from the people who alked by and we are very proud of our creation. :)

  1. I am so glad that you posted this. The environment you created was truly amazing! I think you should develop a novel to go with the city. ;-)
